A landlord generally cannot remove you, change the locks, shut off essential services or intimidate you into leaving without following the lawful termination process. Keep records of messages, dates, witnesses and any costs, and contact the landlord in writing if it is safe to do so. For urgent help, contact Threshold, the RTB or a solicitor; a solicitor can advise on seeking an urgent court order, while the RTB may consider a dispute and possible remedies such as compensation or re-entry. Call 999 or 112 if there is an immediate threat to your safety.
