There is no current fixed number of Rent Pressure Zones (RPZs) to quote. Since 1 March 2026, rent-setting rules apply nationally, so Ireland is no longer dealt with through a list of separate RPZs. The number often quoted online refers to an earlier period, when areas were added or changed over time.
